TRIBUTES have poured in following the death of Street Outlaws star Lizzy Musi.

The Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings favourite passed away after a year-long battle with stage 4 breast cancer.

"Surrounded by her Family, in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25 pm tonight," Musi's father Pat said in astatementon Facebook.

"Thank you for all the prayers and support throughout her battle, at this time, the family would like to have time to process, grief and make arrangements in peace.

"We will give an update as soon as we have information to share."

    Lizzy shared on Facebook that she started dating Jeffrey when she "least expected it."

    "I found a man when I least expected it, on top of going through the worst time in my life... it didn't phase him and he has loved me unconditionally since..," she wrote in January.

    "Hair no hair...sick or not he has seen me at my worst... Getting numerous calls to tell how beautiful and strong I am, talking on FaceTime with my wig off and still compliments me...

    "I am so so thankful for you and it needs to be said," she concluded.

    Inside Lizzy's rise to fame

    Lizzy Musi rose to fame after scoring three victories in Street Outlaws.

    In 2023, she was diagnosed with stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer - the most aggressive type of breast cancer, causing her to step away from the show.

    The cancer had spread to her lymph nodes and liver, but the star remained hopeful about her condition.

    Lizzy is survived by her sister

    Pat has two daughters, Lizzy and Tricia.

    Lizzy followed Pat's path into drag racing and found fame with her own jaw-dropping one-eight mile effort, where she became the first female to break the 200mph barrier.

    Pat's other daughter Tricia hasn't found herself in the limelight quite as much, but is said to be equally passionate about the sport.

    Tricia also races and builds engines.
