Senior Advocate Mahesh Jethmalani, representing the children, argued that the responsibility for educational expenses was a direct outcome of the matrimonial decree, and the fees were indeed pending. However, Priya Kapur's counsel, Senior Advocate Rajiv Nayar, countered these claims. He insisted that all expenses raised by the children had been paid and suggested that the fee dispute was merely a publicity stunt. The judge then directed Priya Kapur's counsel to ensure such grievances do not resurface in court.

Nayar defended the will's authenticity, claiming it was shared within the family's WhatsApp group and was attested by witnesses. He stated that the document's validity would stand unless disproven during the trial. The High Court is scheduled to resume the hearing on November 19 and has indicated its desire to expedite the arguments regarding the injunction.
